Improvements towards sustainability
When working towards our sustainability policy, goals on responsible management and adherence to sustainability guidelines are set.
A party is to be designated responsible for guaranteeing said guidelines are being adhered to, and that constant improvements are being made in sustainability matters, as is the case for all other elements in quality assurance.
Improvements towards sustainability
The IRCA operates an active environmental management system, which builds on the international environmental standard ISO 14001. Special consideration is given towards good communication with the public in the IRCA’s social media policy. This policy aims to consistently improve the IRCA’s communication and service towards the public.
When working towards the IRCA’s sustainability policy, it is also expected that information regarding the status of sustainability matters is communicated to IRCA employees and the public in a consistent manner with transparency, co-operation and access to services as guiding lights.
The legally defined role of the IRCA is: “to build up, maintain and run the state’s transportation system according to these laws, or other laws which the institution operates by”.
