Policies and goals

In the IRCA’s 2024-2028 policy plan, special attention is given to sustainability under the epigraph “Sustainability along for the ride.” There included is the focus on sustainability which the IRCA has incorporated into every facet of the institution’s operation, such as the designing of infrastructure projects, their construction, and daily operation.

The institution’s new sustainability policy co-ordinates with and supports the current goals and policy objectives of the institution, such as the environmental policy, traffic safety policy, security policy, human resource policy, and equality plan of the IRCA.

In the IRCA’s sustainability operations, three UN Sustainable Development Goals are especially taken into consideration:

• 8: Decent work and economic growth
• 11: Sustainable cities and communities
• 13: Climate action
