The transportation system
The transportation system encompasses all sea and land transit, the road system, shipping and port matters, and the public transport system. The mission of the IRCA is to develop and manage the existing transportation system, on land and at sea, keeping in mind the needs of society as a primary guidance, prioritising innovation and efficient solutions.
In its activities, the IRCA is to promote a safe, sustainable, easy and cost-effective transportation system, ensuring that said transportation system develops in accordance with societal and environmental goals, whilst keeping the interests of all the system’s users in mind.
